A thankful visit from Mimi!

Thanks to a visit from Mimi, Glenn and I were able to get out TWO nights and actually have uninterrupted conversations with other adults! It was so nice and we thank you Mimi so much! Leyton had a blast with Mimi and I think she had a blast with him!!!

He really wants to take the ornaments down!

But giving them a kiss will have to do!

Oh and how he loves the neighbors blow up snow globe.....

He gives this a kiss as well! (we have such an affectionate child)!

And the Santa seems so "big" to him...

Holidays and Happenings!

A Sad Goodbye....

What an emotional week this has been. We are so sorry to see you go Pa and we will miss you more than you will ever know. You meant the world to us and we wish our little one in my belly could have met you and got to know the wonderful person that you were. But I have a feeling he will know you pretty well with all the stories to be told to him. We will miss everything about you but you will stay alive in our hearts and we want you to know that we love you and cherish every memory made with you. Until we all meet again in heaven, go and rest in peace.

Our little Devil!

I can't tell you how much Leyton enjoyed trick or treating this year! He was such a trooper...he didn't miss a house, his bucket was so heavy but insisted HE carry it, he was so hot he had sweat dripping down his back, learned to say trick or treat at every door, and was polite enough to say "thank you" and "bye, bye" to every person who gave him treats....I must say I didn't think he would be so into the whole trick or treating thing...boy was I wrong!!!! It was so much fun watching him have so much fun!!!!

If you have ever had children get together to take pictures...then you know how hard it is to have them all look at the camera at once....right? This was an okay shot....

and then a darn plane flies by!

He was so excited to get his first lollipop...he is OBSESSED with them!

This is the funniest part of the night....he was so hot and one house was giving out little bottles of juice....he grab it, sat on the lawn and chugged away!

AAH!

Boy was he thirsty!

Back on the go....

Look at him closely here...he decided to take a seat by this neighbors candy bowl and just grab as much candy as he could fit into his little hands!

Finally back to my friend Suzie's where I could strip him from his costume. He was so relieved!

Back home and after his bath, he sits and is mesmerized by all of the candy he has!

and then he starts gathering all of the lollipops...

trying to get all of them in ONE of his hands...

look at how hard he is concentrating on this...

finally, he offers me one...

then he lines them up...which is his favorite thing to do with his toys...check out the cars in the background!

and then back in his hand!
