Happy Halloween!

We had a fun filled Halloween this year! First we went to a friend's house and let the kiddos trick or treat together! They had so much fun! Of course I couldn't even catch up with Leyton...he was sprinting from one house to the next. Ash was really cute to watch and he absolutely LOVED his candy!

Leyton Turns 4!

Happy Happy 4th Birthday to our little Leyton....I can't believe he is 4 years old! Where does the time go? Leyton has been waiting for his birthday for months now...you don't know how many times he said "mom...it will never be my birthday"...well it was finally here and we have been celebrating since last Thursday...starting with his birthday party at school! I was able to go to his class and spend the day with him and watched as his class shower him with birthday wishes! He loved being the center of attention...literally!

Leyton and his teacher, Mrs. SchmidtMrs. Schmidt has a singing bear that the birthday boy/girl gets to press 3 times...they get a kick out of this!

Then is BIG birthday party was Saturday and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather! We have been having so much rain here in Houston and we lucked out with blue skies on his party day! He had a Cars themed party and he had blast with all of his friends and loved every minute that it was "HIS" day!

My Little Man

Ashton and Leyton both go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays but only Leyton goes on Wednesdays. When it's my friend Andrea's turn for carpool and picks up Leyton, Ashton cries and cries because he wants to go too! Poor baby...he doesn't understand why that on some days she picks them both up and on others she only picks up Leyton! He throws a huge temper tantrum and I always have to take him for a walk to get his mind off this detrimental situation that he thinks he is in. This day after our walk he wanted to put out the LSU chairs that Mimi and Poppy brought us and sit on the porch! I do feel sorry for him when his brother leaves but how do I love the one on one time I get to spend with my little man!

Mission accomplished...looks like he is over his brother leaving!

Crazy Hat Day

Leyton had crazy hat day at school and since he never wears a hat I had to pull out an old favor hat from his 2nd birthday and let him decorate it with Halloween stickers! He is making progress: 1.) he is wearing the hat and 2.) he is smiling and looking at the camera!!! YEAH!!
